Beth Stanton, CMT

Beth is one of Modesto’s most respected and sought-after deep tissue and sports massage therapists. Her innovative approach, developed from 20 years of experience, combines bodywork and yoga therapy. Her background in movement, dance, Pilates and yoga, as well as a lifelong involvement in swimming, and later, triathlon has given her a unique perspective to understand and effectively treat her clients.

Originally from Connecticut, Beth has a B.A. in English from the University of Connecticut. She moved to Tucson, AZ to study bodywork therapy at the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts, where she subsequently served as faculty for six years. She established a private practice and served as Massage Department Director at Body Works Studio, Tucson’s premier Pilates studio.

Beth is a private pilot who flies competition aerobatics. She is actively involved in the International Aerobatic Club, The Ninety-Nines International Organization of Women Pilots, and is on the board of directors of the Modesto Airport Pilots Association.

Travel and exploration have always held a fascination and she backpacked, lived, and worked in Europe for a year. An avid whitewater kayaker, she has paddled rivers in Chile, California and the Grand Canyon. She also enjoys the less adrenaline-inducing endeavors of writing, tending her garden and the pursuit of fine food and wine.
