Dr. Tawfik Saleh, BS, DC, MAOM, LAc

 

Coming from a background with a strong belief in natural healing methods, Dr. Saleh pursued his goal to be a holistic practitioner. He attended California State University Stanislaus, where he graduated with a Bachelor degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry with honors. He then attended the Doctor of Chiropractic and Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine programs at Southern California University of Health Sciences.

 

Dr. Saleh Graduated from both programs at the top of his class with honors (Summa cum Laude).

While finishing his Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine internship, Dr. Saleh taught anatomy and physiology for both the Chiropractic and Acupuncture programs.  He then traveled to spend a year in the Middle East where he worked in a multidisciplinary clinic of many specialties and established the first Chiropractic and acupuncture clinic in the country.

During his trip, Dr. Saleh interacted and learned from many practitioners of the traditional Arabic and Ayurvdedic Medicine. He came back to Modesto bringing an evidence based combination of both traditional and modern healing methods.

 Treatment methods used by Dr. Saleh include:

Having a strong educational background and a rich healing experience, Dr. Saleh’s philosophy emphasizes the importance of patient centered approach. He, therefore, takes his time to listen to his patients and cooperates with the appropriate healthcare professionals to get his patients better in the shortest amount of time possible.
